The SEAFLO SFFTP5-025-01 uses 3.0V DC total power from two 1.5V D-cell batteries to deliver 9.5 Liters Per Minute (LPM) of flow up to a 1.5-meter (1.5M) head height.
Performance Metrics Explained
  • 3.0V Power: Two standard 1.5V D-cell batteries run in series to provide the 3.0V required to spin the internal impeller motor.
  • 9.5 LPM Flow: It transfers approximately 2.5 gallons of fuel every minute under ideal, flat conditions.
  • 1.5M Max Head: The pump can push liquid up a vertical height of 1.5 meters (4.9 feet). Raising the discharge hose near this maximum height will slow down the 9.5 LPM flow rate. [1, 2]
Operational Safety Reminders

  • No Dry Running: Do not run the motor without fluid, as it will rapidly overheat and damage the impeller seals.
  • Vertical Storage: Always store the pump upright after use to prevent residual fuel from leaking into the upper battery compartment.
  • Battery Maintenance: Remove the D-cell batteries if you plan to store the pump unused for more than a month to avoid chemical corrosion leaks.

Key Features
  • Auto-Stop Sensor: An integrated mechanism detects when the receiving tank is full and automatically stops the pump to prevent overflow and spills.
  • Explosion-Proof Motor: Features built-in safety mechanisms and current overload protection specifically certified for handling volatile liquids like gasoline.
  • Fluid Compatibility: Works with gasoline, diesel, kerosene, antifreeze, light oils, and non-potable water.
  • One-Touch Operation: Controlled via a simple on/off push button accompanied by an LED status light. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
How to Install the Batteries & Operate
  1. Load Batteries: Slide down the groove on the battery compartment cover, verify the polarity icons, insert two D batteries, and securely snap the cover shut.
  2. Setup: Insert the rigid suction pipe into your supply canister and place the flexible discharge nozzle inside the target vehicle or equipment tank.
  3. Transfer: Flip the switch to ON. The built-in LED indicator will illuminate while running.
  4. Finish: The auto-stop feature will kick in once the liquid level hits the nozzle tip. Switch the pump to OFF, lift the discharge line to let excess fluid drain back, and safely store it.
